A little hole in the wall with the greatest donuts. Go there at least once a week. Love the cinnamon twists, they a great variety at a reasonable price. I think it is cash only but not sure.

Awesome quaint and oldern style place. I love the glazed donuts. Not too sweet. My kids went all gaga over the chocolate donuts with a hole. And the raspberry filling in one of the donuts was to die for. The way it oozes out. Yummmmm.

Battle of the Doughnuts 1I took on an unusual challenge after I found a listing regarding the best doughnuts in St. Louis. It was on. After awaking at four in the morning, I dressed and headed out by 4:30 to my first shop. Donut Drive-In lit up the sky with its bright white lights blazing at five am. I felt like a moth drawn to a flame while pulling into the parking lot. Located on Chippewa, the shop is small, simple without a lot of fanfare. Trays and racks of doughnuts behind the counter and in the case, lets you know the staff was ready to satisfy the growling bellies of the St. Louis morning rush. I purchased a French glaze; the flavor wasn’t quite what I expected. The single glaze and twist were thick and simple, the kind of doughnut you’d pair with a cup of joe.Overall: These doughnuts are unassuming, to the point in taste and quality.

I would suggest a 10 star option that is how darn good thesedonuts are! For years I've been sold on Krispy Kreme but no more.

If you're like me and apple fritters are you favorite donut, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Their apple fritters are SOAKED with fryer oil. It's like a sponge, sopping wet with grease. It explodes in your mouth when you bite into it. It is disgusting. I don't know what they are doing wrong, but they need a new recipe.

Need a sugar rush for a reasonable price? This is the place. Just a side note: they charge you the credit card transaction fee if you spend less than $10 or something like that. So bring cash unless you are getting a dozen

Best donuts around. Been getting their donuts since before the kids were born. Our family is spoiled and won’t hardly touch a donut from any other place.

They are not making the Donuts like they did in the years past. No need to come 25 miles out of my way to get them. Just a regular donut shop now. Nothing special. It is a real shame. I am sure the people who drive the distance are saying the same.Please go back to making donuts like you used to. That is what made you so popular!😒

This place is the best! It’s been here since I was a child. The donuts are ALWAYS FANTASTIC. Not those overly glazed things they call Donuts from that unnamed chain... this Donut shop has the BEST old fashioned selection, the most amazing Jelly filled donuts, Boston Creme.. everything is great.. PLUS they have Donuts with vanilla icing... they are to die for! I can’t recommend them enough, worth any drive, worth any wait, just plain DELICIOUS!!!

Best donuts I've ever had anywhere. My favorite is the apple fritter and chocolate long john, but I've been enough times to try almost everything else, and even the donuts I usually don't like from another place, I've tried them for variety's sake and they're great too. Still though, their apple fritter is the best donut in the country, and if you get one fresh, hoo boy.

Great selection. There was a really long line (we went on National Donut Day) but they got everyone through so quickly while still being polite. Raspberry and custard fillings are delicious. Cake donuts are much smaller than others, but still good.

Would give them 5 star but they say they are closed at midnight.... and just went up there at like 11:40PM and they had turned off their lights and locked the door with donuts just sitting there... probably going to use them tomorrow. They lost 3 different customers and probably more ... such a shame.

Clearly theres a reason for a long line on the weekend. These donuts are fabulous. Standouts are the apple fritter, glazed jelly, and long John's. Cinnamon, cake, and crueler are very good but not world class. The apple fritters are the bomb

Favorite doughnuts in town for our family!! Plain glazed always make my day. A time or two it felt like they were taken out too soon and tasted raw, but I'm sure it was a coincidence and can't wait to go back to taste -test again!

Absolutely fantastic and fresh donuts! Just on the road 66, considered an attraction. It’s delicious fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced. Staff is super nice and friendly. There is little table at the end of the parking lot where you can taste your donut in peace. Awesome spot! Would recommend!
